MIRI, Feb 6 (Bernama) — Several Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) Assemblymen are happy over their meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, here today. Samariang State Assemblywoman Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said the meeting held at a leading hotel, here, had given her a new inspiration to give better service to her constituents.
“The Prime Minister had advised me to continue to be diligent in serving my electorate,” she told reporters after the meeting.
Pantai Damai Assemblyman Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said Najib had given serious attention to every problem raised.
“After asking questions about development problems in my constituency, he listened and gave serious attention to each of my replies,” he said.
Meanwhile, Tasik Biru Assemblyman Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie said he felt relieved that he could convey the problems of his constituents directly to Najib.
“Besides listening to the problems of my constituents, he gave advice and encouragement to me to provide better service,” he said.
Pelagus Assemblyman Larry Sng described his meeting with the Prime Minister as an opportunity to be frank about the problems in his constituency.
“I felt that there was nothing to hide during the meeting with him. I am satisfied,” he said. — BERNAMA
