CM attends SUPP CNY 2013 House Visiting

Head of state Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib bin Mahmud attended Sarawak SUPP’s House visiting event this year which was held in the SUPP headquarters yesterday. The crowd were very big, unlike last year’s which the CM did not attend.

According to statistics, there were a total of 3000 meals served yesterday and both SUPP GE candidates, Chen Kai and Ye Yao Xing (pronounced mandarin name) are confident that there were enough attendance.
At least over a thousand people attended the gathering
Asked this morning, SUPP Secretary General Dr Sim Kui Hian stated that they were about 1000-2000 attendees yesterday. The crowd was big even before SUPP leaders and CM made their appearance.
CM Wishes Chinese rakyat Happy Lunar New Year
CM wishes all the Chinese population a Happy Lunar New Year when he was leaving SUPP headquarters after the event. He hope that the Chinese community can work hard together and contribute to the country even more this year.
